Does the reader have to be "paired up with" the device? Or can I just plug it in and use it?

@wanda1 If you're using the Docking Station with your Square Contactless and Chip Card Reader to plug in directly to a Square Stand, there wouldn't be a need to pair the reader via bluetooth.
If you're not using a Square Stand, then you'll need to pair the Square Contactless and Chip Card Reader to your iPad directly.
