When will I be able to correct an error when settling tips?

If someone writes in their receipt a $10.00 tip, and I accidentally enter $1.00 tip and settle, is there a way to go back and change it? If not now, will there ever be a way?

Unfortunately, you can't add an amount to a cleared transaction, even if it was your error to begin with. It would leave too many legal loopholes of people scamming customers. The only thing you can do to recoup that lost tip is, if the customer is a regular, possibly talk to them the next time they're in. Maybe they will be nice and put the missing amount on their next transaction.

For overcharging tips, you'll have to refund the amount. If you use the web dashboard, there's a refund option of incorrect tip entry.
