closed doors 6 years ago, but now reopening and need a new card reader

Ok, so 6 years ago, i stopped my business. Now im redoing it all and the card reader i have from 6 years ago has olde protocols and out of date. How do i get a new one, and will it cost me anything or is it a free replacement since it is sooooo old haha

Your old reader may still work - you can try plugging it in and seeing if everything updates and works via the Square Point of Sale app!

Otherwise you'd need to purchase new hardware from our online shop. Let us know if you have any questions 🙂
