Clients cannot purchase Gift Cards

Hi All,

A client is trying to purchase a gift card from a link I placed on both my FB page and website. She sent me this message this morning:

When I click on the link it sends me to a place where I can create a card but no details and asks me to put in a gift card number?

What is this Gift Card Number she is talking about? 

Can someone help me please????

Hey @Neridah,

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear your customers are having trouble buying gift cards!

From the sounds of it, your customer is on a payment page to buy an item that has the option of purchasing via a gift card - as opposed to purchasing an actual gift card.

First I want to check, are you sending the customer this link from the eGift Card section of your online dashboard?

This should take you to a page that looks like this, there are two steps in the process and neither requires you to enter a gift card number (that's what the buyer will need to use to purchase things from you once the gift card is purchased and sent):
