Trying to register - defaults to business information not personal

I am trying to register a new individual and have input an email address and password but I ma stuck on the screen that asks for business information, ABN etc. The ABN input box says "optional for individuals" but you can't proceed without it. Maybe I ticked the wrong box on the prior screen but I can't go back and I can't continue.

I've tried to cancel out and try again but it won't let me use that email address as it is "in use" but I can't log in using that email/password.

How can I delete all record of the original sign up attempt so I can start again? And, was there a prior option to note that it is a personal account?

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

If you're running a hobby business you can sign up as a sole trader and leave the ABN field blank.

 

Note that your Square account will still need to be used for genuine business purposes rather for than personal sales.
