Feature Request: Automatically only accept online orders during business hours

Option for your online store to automatically only be available during business hours. Currently you can only do that by manually toggling the "Accept online orders" button under Checkout on and off. Or, if that isn't possible, when someone attempts to make an order outside of business hours, have something big or red or otherwise un-missable telling the customer that the business is closed and when it will reopen. This is important for restaurants that don't want folks thinking they can order and pickup food outside of business hours. Currently, nothing stops people from placing an order outside of business hours if the online store is accepting orders and if they don't pay attention to the assigned pickup day/time they might think they can come get their food and find the place closed.

These are great suggestions for improvements, and I'm happy to pass this to our team as we have a few requests coming from our Beta Round Table meetings we're holding.

 

Have you found that customers are missing the pick up time? Usually this is fairly well defined, but I do see how a making it more discoverable can cut down on all potential areas for confusion.

 

Our eCom team launched a lot of these features quickly to help for business need and are working to get this as smooth as possible for all businesses. These are great suggestions, and happy to pass them along.
