Is there a way to have fees debited from an account, as opposed to taken out?
I run a small law office. Per Missouri Bar statute, I must deposit the full amount of a credit card transaction into a designated "Trust" account (retainer fees) at the time the monies are accepted. Is there a way to set Square to deposit (credit) one bank account for the full amount of the charge while deducting fees (debit) from another account (general operating). Thank you.

@RMLaw - Welcome to the Seller Community. We're happy to have you! 👐🏻 As for your question, I've definitely seen this feature requested from other sellers in the past. We don't currently offer an alternate way of paying for processing fees, we always deposit the payment minus those fees. I'll be sure to let you know if we do offer expanded options in this area in the future.

@LNieto No, it has not changed, fees are deducted and then deposited into your account.
