Does anyone know if there is a way to change category colors in appointments calendar?

Hi All,

I mainly want to be able to change the colors in the calendar to reflect paid customers and cash customers.... also mark outstanding invoices all in one location so i dont have to have two windows open to click through appointment and go back and create invoice...

Although we don't have the exact feature this original post is looking for, I want to elaborate a bit on what we do have available with Appointments and calendar coloring. 

You can adjust the colors for your staff members to make it easier to organize and view on your Calendar:

In addition to that, it's worth noting that if you take a payment directly from the appointment, the paid appointment will appear as a lighter color on your calendar.

Thanks for your post @Abbysstylish! I've moved your post here so you can see Puka's suggested workaround for how to sync your appointments to Google Calendar. With Gcal you can also view Tuesday-Saturday only too. 

I agree these are wonderful ideas for the Appointments calendar and I'll share your suggestions with the Appointments team!

Is there a way to color code the different categories of the classes I offer on my calendar. Gray color seems to be a boring color. There is no distinction between classes. Your response will be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to find out how do I confirm clients appointments in square appointments app? I wanted to color code which appointments are confirmed. i am new to this booking system and my previous one allowed me to color code accepted, cancelled, no show and confirmed appointments.

Looks like we still need this feature. It would be very helpful, especially to be able to set a different color for appointments that are booked online by new customers. I have some long term customers that are on a recurring schedule and I need to reach out to them to get confirmation from them each time. But if a new customer books an appointment online, then the appointment time is already confirmed and takes priority over appointments that are not yet confirmed.

Is there a way to assign colors to services? It would be really helpful for me to be able to look at my day and know what's coming in based on colors instead of having to open every appointment.

Following up from my reply a year ago to ask why this feature request cannot be actualized when so many people have asked for it. I'm not a coder but it seems like a fairly easy thing to make happen. Can you at least explain why you can't implement this when so many people have been asking for it? Sean responded to this thread in 2016 (!!!) saying he agreed that it would be a useful feature. Here we are three years later. Can you at least explain????
