You're correct. We're not currently able to offer Android compatiblity with bluetooth printers, but this is definitely a popular feature request. While I don't have an ETA to offer on that front, we're always working to bring the same compatibility for all devices we support.
As always, keep an eye out for app updates from the Play Store.
I'm really interested in a Bluetooth scanner for my Android devices. I will not buy an apple and feel that my business isn't as important because of that.

I am so disappointed that I can no longer use my bluetooth barcode scanner with Square! Will this be fixed? I have Android tablet and phones. I will prefer not to get another POS system. I am happy with Square minus the not able to use the scanner for my sales with my mobile devices. Please, fix this.

We will announce any developments as soon as they're available. ...aand here in Feb 2019, I went on a leap of faith and got a Star Micronics receipt printer, and unfortunately have an Android tablet. I like the one-line "Note" that states Bluetooth is not supported for Android in the Support Center. This should be stated more prominently up front where newcomers can get this info way ahead of buying hardware. 😕 2019-02-10

Hey @Ikennedy - Unfortunately, no news to share on Bluetooth connection with Android devices at this time. However, we'll make sure to announce any updates on this thread as we receive them.
It would make a wonderful difference in my world! My hours of operation are long and my battery doesn't last for the entire time. I end up having to try and plug in the charger in between sales.
