Feature Request: Automatically hide Out of Stock items on my Square Online website

I really don't like items of sold-out items appearing in the store and it can be time consuming to have to remember what's sold out, then go and manually hide it. Is there a way or an option that can allow any "Out of Stock" items to be automatically hidden?

At this time, the ability to have your items be hidden automatically when they are out of stock is a Feature Request. I understand how this would be useful, especially if you have a large Item Library, @jshiree - we'll definitely update this thread if this feature is built out.

In the meantime, the easiest way to manage is to make these edits through the Item Library page. To help save time here, if you have a large Item Library, it may be helpful to export your Item Library. You can do this from either your Square Item Library, or the Item Library found in the website editor for your Square Online Store.

When you export, there will be a column titled Current Quantity. Any items with a '0' in that column are out of stock. Once you identify the out of stock items, you can go back to your Item Library and search for those items by name instead of mentally keeping up with your sold out items. I hope this helps!

Please add my name to the "Feature Request" list! The best answer is not a feasible solution. In my business each item is unique, and the website looks unprofessional when so many items appear as "sold out". It would extremely time-saving to have an automatic hide when the stock reaches zero. Currently, it's a maintenance headache.

I also thought of one more thing that might complicate the issue. Sometimes it's nice to still show just a few of the most beautiful pieces that are "sold out". Would it be possible to have that option? For instance, have the auto-feature that hides sold out items right away, and then be able to go back in and select just a few choice items to show, even though they have sold?

Please add me to the Feature Request list. I make no more than 5 of each type of jewelry and they sell quickly. As my inventory grows, it's difficult to then go back and hide each individual item. When Out of Stock is listed on a number of items on your site, it's not a good look.

I think it's still pending, but any added requests are helpful to prioritize the issue. I just joined the Beta community, and I'll bring it up next week. (Hopefully. Let's see how this works...)

Strongly agree with other replies that the "Recommended Answer" is not a workable solution.  This should be basic functionality for an online retail platform.  What good is a sales screen filled with red "Sold Out" flags that the customer has to visually weed through?

As a very small business, I do not have the time nor the employees to keep up with what's available and what isn't on our website.

We too have a physical store sharing items with our online store and need everything to sync seamlessly (and more importantly AUTOMATICALLY).

Please speed up the "Roadmap" square!

This is the one item that has me considering other ecommerce platforms.

Alternatively, is there a way to have the sort feature move out of stock items to the bottom? Seems like "newest" or "featured" should rank in stock items above out of stock.

I don't have an update on this yet, but believe me, it's top-o-the-list. I will post any info as I manage to get it.
