I was so in love with Square and Square payroll with just one location for our coffee and ice cream store. So happy in fact that I converted our other existing location from Revel to Square after using it at our second location for a couple of months. The payroll was so easy compared to our restaurants that have to use a payroll company, so I dropped our payroll service as well. Only, come to find out, Square does not support multiple locations for Payroll! I can't split up bank accounts and time cards, I can only run one payroll for all locations coming from one account. 

Only one bank account available for payroll when operating multiple locations is not how most businesses operate. I would've assumed Square to be more ahead of this but am very disappointed. I will have to pull both locations off Square Payroll until they start supporting growing businesses.

We need this basic feature to start working asap please. 

square allows for multiple locations and EIN numbers and it's only logical that separate location would have separate payroll!

please implement multiple locations under payroll to match multiple sales locations that already exists.

Same issue! I am expanding to another location and I want to support Payroll but not from the same account as my main location.

 

Please add my request to the list. It's insanity this isn't an option. 

 

I also need Square Payroll to create the ability to re-activate closed accounts. It's crazy that you have to create a whole new account for one Square feature.

We really need to address the payroll issue. Having multiple locations is not a benefit if you can't use the payroll properly

Yes! We desperately need this. It’s making keeping up with accounting and P&L that much more difficult. 

I see the earliest request to square was in 2017 on this thread, why on earth do we not have this feature THREE years later?

This needs to be addressed. We are about to open our 3rd location. If Square doesn't have an update by the end of the year, we will be forced to do payroll with another company. As business owners, we have to be able to track expenses per location. Payroll is usually the highest expense each month for a small business.

So because you cant run payroll for two separate locations under one account allowing different bank accounts and EIN. Can I just create a separate account just for payroll purposes I would keep a separate tablet for them to clock in on/out and only use that account to run payroll the other tablet will be for checking out customers and all other POS needs.( The account with both locations). Let me know if there is a better solution or if it just makes sense to use a whole different account for everything for the new location. The new location will have a different EIN.

I just wanted to check in and see if Square is planning to implement Payroll for multiple locations anytime soon. If not under one account, atleast the ability to log in from a single email address? 

 

Seems like a feature that would benefit many business owners.
