Feature Request: Change locations without logging out

The title of this post has been edited from the original: How to change locations on iPad?

I use the same iPad for different "locations".   The only way I can see to change locations is to log off and then log back in and choose the location I want. Is there a way to change locations while logged in?

We have 4 location + wholesale location. its really hard when you have to keep switching to another.

I'm starting to think that square is made for smaller businesses that has only a few items and 1 location.

Thanks for checking in @Provision. I went to find an update on this and unfortunately there isn't any information that I'm able to share. 

We know this is a hindrance for a lot of our sellers, so we will continue to push this request up the line.

I'm still really hoping this feature is implemented soon. I've used the workaround involving the beta and regular square app however it never worked properly with one square reader between them so I had to give up. Now with the Square Terminal I would really like to see an easy way to switch locations because it takes longer to sign in to the Terminal since it doesn't save passwords.

This is a problem for my business too. I need to be able to easily switch between locations and having to log out completely and then back in again is really frustrating.

We could at least be able to see reports for all locations. I myself need this on my phone when I am out of town or at one location and need to check how another location or all locations are doing sales wise. Just give us the option to look at all locations but not sale items in another location unless we log out and back in.

I use Appointments to book clients at two locations, and I also vend at public events where clients walk in. I use the Square POS app to process payments and swipe cards, and to process walk in clients. I cannot get the Square (POS) App on my android phone to allow me to change the locations, but I can change it from one location to Mobile Business. I cannot edit receipts for transactions completed, so all of my receipts have the wrong address for where the service was rendered. 

Am I missing something? Am I "logged in" at one location, so I could switch and log in to the second location?

Hey @BethanyLMT ! As of right now, the only way to toggle between locations when logged into the Square app, would be to log out, and log back into the app. Only when you login to the app will you be prompted to select which location you want to take payments from. 

Please feel free to reply again if you have further questions about this. I know we're working on making it easier for sellers with multiple businesses to toggle between locations with the Square app, and our Appointments system.
