Feature Request: Create packages including multiple services via Square Appointments

The title of this post has been edited from the original: How to schedule multi packs with Square Appointments?

 

Hoping to find some help here.  We offer a service that clients can pay for and book appointments online. Great. The problem is that there are discounted packages if multiple treatments are purchased at one time, if this option is chosen, the client is only able to schedule one appointment as opposed to multiple separate appointments for each of the treatments they purchase.  Is there a way to make this work? Thanks in advance.

As a workaround you could use recurrning invoices with Square Appointments for a package, and view the number of invoices remaining in the series. However, you can't images to a recurring invoice series, I'm sorry!

 

Another workaround is to create a single service for package deals you offer but you'd need to track the number of sessions completed manually. You could ask customers to contact you directly for packages, and then schedule each session in the package deal as a separate appointment to ensure clients are charged for each session.

 

I'm adding your post to this thread where other sellers are interested in using Appointments to create and manage packages. We'll update the status to give you a heads up about any developments on this feature request.

Yep! While we don't have a way to automatically apply discounts when customers book more than one service, you can create bundles as individual services. For example if you are a personal trainer, you can list 5 sessions at the discounted price as one appointment. 

 

When your customer comes in for their first appointment, you then can manually book their next, or all upcoming, appointments through your Appointments Dashboard. In your client information section of Dashboard you have the ability to add notes and view past appointments so you can keep track of their remaining appointments even if the schedule one at a time!

Using the square “appointments” app, why can’t my customers combine two services? 
I clean cars. So, I offer interior and exterior and I would like my customers to be able to combine a package of their choosing.

I've gone ahead and moved your post to a thread where we have been tracking the requests for this feature, @candace1. I checked in on this feature request last week, and there haven't been any developments to share between then and now.

The best way for you to do this is to create a service that includes both (interior/exterior). Hope I was of some help. I never see anyone from square ever helping anyone figure out what to do. I love square but the support sucks. 

I also just want to add to this thread that this feature is extremely important to me. I'm extremely disappointed to see that this thread was started in 2016 and it is now 2020 and no changes have been made to accommodate this request. So, I'm just throwing my name in the ring in the hopes that the more people that mention the necessity for a feature like this actually sparks something in working towards creating it.

The Appointments team tracks requests we receive here as well as the feedback we receive by phone, email, on social media, and from discussions they have with sellers using Square Appointments.

I have been watching this thread for a couple of years and am throwing this comment out there to be counted as someone who is interested in a feature for selling packages (or other systems refer to them as series). I would like to use Square for my reservation system, however, I will continue to use my current system until this issue has been resolved.

I would love to be able to sell packages on Square. I think for some it would be a great additional right now I sell them but when I check them out I have to provide a discount and I have to keep track of when they were used instead of the system being able to do it for me. 

 

This would be so helpful!

 

Also I think it would be great if we could gift our clients a complimentary gift card. Not all but just to have the option without it messing up our sales
