How do I link an invoice to an appointment?

A client scheduled an appointment so I created an invoice from the Invoices tab. Their payment went thru, but the appointment on my calendar did not record it. When I manually recorded the payment, a new transaction was created. Now my transaction records are off. Is there a way to apply an invoice to an appointment(s) post-payment and/or link an invoice to an appointment pre-payment?

The feature of creating an invoice directly from an appointment would be such a useful feature to have and definitely will save time.

I would also like to be able to schedule my estimates in appointments and have the appointment be converted to an invoice upon completion, as I like to attach pdf documentation to the invoices. Is there any news on this feature from the dev team? I Also would like to be able to adjust pricing without having the item or service item price being set to variable. This allows me to make an estimate and adjust slightly when customers request a price match. Is this a feature that will be available as well?

Still looking for this feature, have not been able to "charge" or select the invoice as described above. 

I'm trying to find the "Send Invoice" as described and cannot. I want customers to be able to pay for this service beforehand and allow them to do so online. Their confirmation text (when I create the appointment without payment) doesn't even list the price for the appointment. So they don't know how much to make a check out for. Help @Valentina @nika

Hey @popsicleshop- Just want to confirm... are you trying to send the invoice from the Appointments app on an iOS device?

Yes. I figured it out. Invoices wasn't turned on in the Payments section of Settings. It would be helpful to mention that step in the future. Thanks!

Has there been any development on this? Its probably the only flaw i have that my clients often pay a deposit and on the day of appointment i have to try and work out what they have paid already. 

I'll just add my voice that this would be a very important feature to add. 

Like others have pointed out,  I also send a monthly invoice with 2-4 services paid and scheduled in advanced and would like the invoice to create the calendar appointments or at least link appointments in the calendar to the those paid invoices.

 

I really hope this is fixed soon.  And please let us know when this happens 🙏
