How do I link an invoice to an appointment?

How do I link an invoice to an appointment?

A client scheduled an appointment so I created an invoice from the Invoices tab. Their payment went thru, but the appointment on my calendar did not record it. When I manually recorded the payment, a new transaction was created. Now my transaction records are off. Is there a way to apply an invoice to an appointment(s) post-payment and/or link an invoice to an appointment pre-payment?

Hi,

we have tried this approach and have sent an invoice from an appointment, which has then been partially paid by the customer. However this payment isn’t recorded on the appointment, which still allows staff to charge the customer the full amount for their appointment. When using the appointment app there’s no way at all to find out who has and hasn’t paid.

it seems like a vital step in the journey has been missed out here making it useless to the day to day running of a business, which is such a shame because it is otherwise miles ahead of anything else out there!

are there any plans to complete this process and integrate this in the very near future?

thanks

+1 from me too! Looking forward to updates, fingers crossed! 🙂

This is definitely something I want for my business. I assumed all the different sections of your services would be integrated, so it's disappointing to find out that that's not the case and that it's not as much of an "all-in-one" solution as I thought. From my perspective, this invoicing service offers no solutions that weren't met by my own excel spreadsheet invoice templates. I would love to be able to generate invoices by selecting line items from the appointments, though maybe in a list format as opposed to the calendar view (so to easily see the names of my clients and quickly select their corresponding appointments).  That said, the up-front payments from clients eliminates the need to generate as many invoices in general, which is definitely a plus!
