I have noticed tips in any transaction done outside of a booked appointment are assigned to whoever is logged in to pos not to service provider assigned the sale. It is very inconvenient as we have to add up tips manually each day to guarantee accuracy . Service provider gets the commission but not the tip.

Have you set up tip pooling for your team members yet @SNI? Tip pooling can help assign tips to individuals, or allow you to split tips between all members. While it's not the exact feature you're requesting here, it could make assigning tips to each member a bit easier. Learn more here

@Arie  our tips are not pooled , the tip is direct from client to service provider. The tip should go to assigned service provider whether checked out through an appointment or as a walk in . Seems like this is something that can and should be easily corrected. Even when looking at transaction it shows tip and commission assigned to service provider only the tip does not end up on their totals. it ends up on cashiers totals even though their position is set not eligible to receive tips. 

 

This seems like a bug  with sq appointments not a feature request.

Right now, tips will only be assigned to a team member when there's an appointment linked to it as well, @SNI. I understand your frustration with this not being more intuitive, but at the moment this would be considered a feature request.
