Hi, I wondering if any of the good folk out there have a better understanding/experience of the Square - FB integration they could share .
We have seasonal products which we sell using Square Online. These automatically sync with the Facebook catalogue. These products can be unavailable 3/4 of the year, then reactivated annually just for a season.
We like to make these products unavailable out of season as this then removes the items from the POS (clutters the screen up, so we take them off the system by removing the location, which is a pain as it also takes off the ascribed tax rate). This aside when we do this the product is still active on the FB catalogue, so when they click to buy, it links to the website and shows a 404 page, as you would expect as the product in unavailable. Is there any way the sync will delete or remove the unavailable products in the FB catalogue? Is there anything on the FB catalogue which will enable this from the FB side or the Square side??
NB we have tried hiding the product, it removes the product from the website so the customer can't search for it, but the link is still active on the FB shop.
Any suggestions we can try will be greatly received. ๐
