Editing appointments should include "this and following appointments"

When editing an appointment, there is no option for the changes to affect this and following appointments. The only options are to edit just the appointment being edited or to edit the entire series, which includes past appointments. The option to change this and the following appointments is there for cancellation, so it should be very easy to add for editing appointments.
