Selling plastic gift cards in my online store & redeeming online

Hi there,

We are an online-only business. I have set up eGift Cards in my online store, but I would like to be able to sell physical, plastic gift cards too, that I can ship out to customers in a nicely wrapped gift box for the holidays.

Is it possible to sell the plastic gift cards in my online store, for customers to then redeem online? As I said, we are online-only.

If this question has been answered already, please direct me to the answer?

I had a look at our Gift Cards FAQ: 

Can I sell and load plastic gift cards on my Square Online site?

Not at this time. You can sell eGift Cards through Square Online.

This would be a feature request that you can submit to our product teams here.

Hi @Prim we sell both through our website. We have a landing page for our gift cards where you can select physical or eGift. The physical card we sell as a normal item, we then load up the card, via a cash transaction, then refund back, but make sure you don't tick to restock. It's a bit cumbersome.
