Editing preorder dates/time

Need to be able to set a specific pickup/delivery date for particular items online (at the moment they all get the automatic pickup/delivery date, but if the item isn't ready for pickup until the following week because it is a preorder, the customer gets confused by the auto date given to them online. Either I need to be able to do this on the item page on Square online, or in the POS after the customer puts through the order (ie. edit the pickup date/time, which I can do now, but have it email the update to the customer which we are missing).

 

Preferably having it on Square online as it would solve multiple emails and headache.

Hello, @EarthMarket  At this time Pre-Orders are considered a Feature Request and our team is working hard to make it a possibility. 

 

In the meantime, you can set up these items as digital goods and include the date of availability in the description.

Digital goods doesn't work for us, especially when people want to add other products to their order. 

 

We already have the date in the title and description, but people still get confused by the emails.

This makes total sense @EarthMarket Something I can suggest is including in the description to disregard the date given. I will share this with our product team for their visibility.

I also have that, but people don't read descriptions I've noticed haha
