Why are items unavailable for pickup?

When I create an item if I only select the option for pick up the item shows as unavailable in my store. Why can’t I take payment for an item online. Then have the customer pick it up??

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your item fulfillment options, @Floatcanada

 

Can you please check to make sure you have a location setup for pickup fulfillment? Please navigate to the Square Online dashboard, then click Fulfillment > Pickup and Delivery. You should see a link that says "set up location". 

 

Once your location is properly setup you should be able to change the fulfillment option for your items. You can bulk edit the items by clicking Items > Site Items, then checking the boxes for the items you wish to edit. The last step is to select Bulk Edit in the top right corner of the list, then Set Fulfillment. 

 

Please let us know if you have any additional trouble with the settings.
