I think the weebly help article for embedding a twitter timeline link is out of date, the procedure is not what is available on the twitter website, anyone help with that please? Thanks, Michael.

Ahem, actually I am now able to answer my own question, which is the best outcome in fact..
The code does work but you have to disable ad-blockers or 'trust' the domain of your website in your browser for the feed to load properly.
Hope that maybe useful for others.

I use Ghostery ad-blocker/tracker software so if you open Ghostery or whatever you use and select 'trust site' then the feed starts to load.
Note that twitter has changed the way you 'export' your timeline - you no longer get a widget ID and code instead now you get a link in code that you use to embed into your site-build.
