Edit Background Grayscale doesn't work

When I try to edit the background in my gallery, the "blur", "darken" and "filter", do not work, only the "Zoom" works.

I tried editing on Safari and Chrome but both are the same. What am I missing? Thanks.

I can't remember if the site is live, but the only workaround I can think of right now is to upload your own image. If you are really set on using the in-house images you could create a few sections on a hidden page and and just include the background images you wish to use. Then publish and view your live site. You won't be able to download the images (easily) but you could take some screen snippets and then upload those images. I wonder if the images are available in a site archive.. Let me check one more thing for you. Smiley Happy

Okay, I can confirm that uploading your image will solve the issue. You can test this under Pages>Test. I thought maybe all of the images used would download to the archive folder but I'm not seeing any stock images. You could also get images from a site like Unsplash and upload those (if you don't want to do the hacky screenshot suggestion) until the issue is resolved. https://unsplash.com/

You're welcome! Yes, that is a great site! There's a few good ones out there, i.e. https://www.pexels.com/

Try searching for "free stock images" and you should be able to find more. Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

Hmm.. it's not working when I try on a test page for that theme. I did notice that it is working right with the Birdseye theme, so I'm checking with support right now. It's possible the function no longer works with the theme you are using, or it is a possible bug. 😕

Hi @NomadingNick It looks like there may be a possible issue, which is being researched, but can you try uploading the same image to the header area? Or are all of your background photos coming from the built-in options?

Thanks for checking.

They're all coming from the built-in options.

The header and the body edit's doesn't work. Only the "zoom" function works in both header and body.
