How do I use the Membership API externally?

Hello,

I'm trying to get the list of members in a group from my website externally i.e. calling the API from a server elsewhere. Is this possible? am I using the right API to do this?

As an example, I want to set up a node server somewhere which will call this membership API to get the list of members from my weebly website.
