Hello,
The old Google Search Console displays that 227 out of 229 pages are indexed, whereas the new Google Search Console displays 161 pages are excluded.
Old Google Search Console
New Google Search Console
For example, Page with redirect has 124 excluded links. See here. I submitted for reindexing just to make sure that I don't raise this query in a hurry, but seems like it still exists.
Does anyone have any idea of how to resolve this?

I think the only links that are excluded are those that have a rel="nofollow" tag added to them. We don't add this ourselves for internal links. Some third party widgets can sometimes generate excluded links, although in general it's not usually a big problem if you see some for a site. I would guess Google updated its criteria somewhat with the new web console.

How can I have this rel=nofollow tag removed from these pages, @Adam? If by removing the tag Google would index it, then it would be awesome and feed my purpose.
I observed that some of the pages that have been mentioned in the report are hidden in navigation, whereas some are not. It is weird that I am unable to find any consistency. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

I'm not sure because I don't know where on your site the links themselves are; I can see from your list where they are linking to, but not where the link itself is.

Hello @Adam,
Some of these links can be found here:

Hmm... Those links don't have "nofollow" tags, so I don't see why Google would have a problem crawling them.

It seems like you aren't the only person seeing this with Google's new search console:

It looks like this is happening when the linked page redirects somewhere else, I think.

RickRoll mentions in a comment in the Google Product Forum thread you had shared earlier that this issue might be cause of the upgrade to https
Is this something we can look into?

Once you enable SSL on the Settings tab, we automatically forward any non-SSL requests to the SSL version. If you used the External Link option when making links and pasted in a link to your site, you could change those links to either use the HTTPS URL or to simply pick the page from the list of pages on your site.

I am having the same issue. I have 4 pages being indexed and more than a 100 being excluded. Would love to know what I can do - as it looks as if I have fallen off the google bot index.

Hi there. I too noticed too that many pages of my website are excluded in search console. Pages are properly crawled but excluded for no reason. What is the reason for this issue? Any recommended silution?
