Had to Purchase Domain Twice and Cannot Edit Site

While trying to create a site, I purchased the domain, but I am not able to edit the site. Each time I try to, I am asked to purchase another domain. I have now been charged twice for the same domain name and I am still unable to edit the site or even view it anywhere on the home page. Has anyone else had a similar problem.
