Cannot advance past software update today to start taking customer charges. Tapping X in upper left corner does nothing

Please provide more information, specifically:

  1. Have you been able to process payments before this update downloaded, or are you new to Square?
  2. What version of Square are you using: POS, Square for Retail, Square Terminal, Square Register, etc?
