Are there any moves to incorporate Wireless Scanners into the Square POS.

We love the Square Processing, Apps and Register.  We are very concerned as we have had the new register POS for a year now and actually have 2.  The biggest drawback of this system is the lack of interest to incorporate a wireless Scanning device for checkout to the POS system.  We use them on our desktops to put product into inventory, but we can not use them with the square register.  Would hope that this gets fixed, we have been waiting a year.  We process 1000 items a day at a checkout lane and it would make life much easier.

This is actually really interesting...you mean scanning the items and it'll add it to the "cart" or right column in the POS screen, right? 

We can actually create a quick, custom, mobile app - powered by Square's API that allows you to do this and every purchase will still show up in your Square Account just the same. 

This would be pretty easy, because we already make and have mobile apps powered by Square, so we can just use one of those and change it around a little - and boom! Problem solved!
