The only current options are salary or hourly. Is it possible to set up payroll to pay out based on how many appointments they have taken on within a given pay period? In other words "for work performed" or "by piece".

If the rate is a set amount, then you could set it as there hourly payrate, then give them that many hours on a timecard.

Yes and no. There are fixed rates but there are several. I saw that it is possible to give employees different roles and apply different pay rates based on that role. That could be a possible work around to the multiple rates in combination with the method you mentioned. Thanks for the help!

Unless it has changed recently, you need to be careful with that. Last I knew the different payrates weren't integrated with payroll yet. Any update on that @katieand?

Thanks for the heads up. We're still not sure if we're doing payroll through Square or Xero. This is the one hang up, really.
