Refunding customers due to Covid-19

We were holding an educational weekend at a resort which notified us that it was closing & all the meeting rooms I'd reserved were canceled.

 

Companies paid me for the use of those meeting rooms & yesterday I refunded their payments ($3200 total).  The fees were $95.20 & $3104.80 was transferred out of my bank.

 

Can you please let me know where the $95.20 fees went? To Square (why not waived due to Coronavirus)?

 

Or did the fees go back onto each companies credit cards?

What should have happened is that the companies got all of their money back, and you got your fees refunded.  That should be part of your next scheduled deposit, or placed on your Square card's available balance.
