What would be the best way to add miscellaneous data to a transaction?

Imagine a scenario where someone is doing a coat check, where they would like to add a couple of miscellaneous fields such as Name, Email and Coat ID to a single transaction. Is this possible within the Square app, or is it possible using one of the data integration tools?

Thanks!

When you process a sale with Square you have the ability to add a customer to the sales by clicking the down arrow at the top of the transaction.  See image below.   This will add the customer name and email address to the sale.  For your Coat ID, you can add a custom field.  To do this go to Customer Management / Settings / Customer Profile in your dashboard.

This information will be viewable under Customer in the app or Customer Management in the dashboard.  Unfortunately, this information will not print on the receipt.  If you want it printed on the receipt the best way to do this is..  Click on the item that is being rung and add this information to the item notes section.  This will print if "Show Item Description" is turned on in receipts.

It looks like the Customer option on the app is not available in Costa Rica, which is the country of operation. Is this feature restricted in this country?

@EETesting123 Helen here! I wanted to clarify that this feature isn't available in Costa Rica at this time! So sorry for the confusion! I'll share your interest in this with the appropriate team.
