This could mean a few different things depending on what you're looking at.

Which report were you referring to? Were you looking at your mobile staff sales or your daily sales summary?

I'd like to have an employee discount that is only for food items. 50% off all food. Does not include alcohol. Is this possible?

Yes! - this is absolutely doable within Square. You can create and manage discounts for customers and employees, alike!
