I have lost the 'Record Card Payment' option on the App since setting up an online shop.

Hi,

 

I have been running the Square app on an ipad for a couple of years but not using the Square payment system (I had already signed up to a 5 year contract with a credit card machine supplier.  During lockdown, I set up an online shop using Square and set up Square payments.  Now I am re-open, I can no longer 'Record Card Payment' as a payment method.  Is there a way I can get this back?

Hi @Aeddy, thanks for your post. We used to have this option before we officially launched in the UK. However, this option is no longer available and there isn't a way for us to offer this payment type again.

 

To record card payments processed through another system, you can use the "Other Payment Types" option instead.
