Our company is building a mobile app that onboards merchants and allows customers to pay through the app itself, meaning no contact is necessary. However, we would like to be able to send a notification back to the Square platform to let it know when each transaction has been paid for. Do you provide any API that allows us to do this? Thanks!

Hi @david12- Quick clarification question... Are you planning on using Square to take payments at all? Or are you solely wanting to use your app to take payments?

We solely want to use our app to take payments, and we hope to partner with Square so our app becomes an additional payment method for existing merchants over time, creating a win/win/win/win: for the retailer, for Square, for the customer (0 touch transaction), and for our company, YamaPay.

When we collaborate with Square, we will help Square and the merchant divert some of the pay traffic back from the Grubhubs' of the world and do better by the merchant. With Square and YamaPay helping this happen, the merchant-Square relationship will have much better staying power.

Got it. Thanks @david12.
Our API team asked that you reach out to them. It sounds like they'll need to do some work on the back end for you.
Hope they're able to get you on the right path!
