[New] Launching Future Bookings Report for Appointments Plus and Premium Subscribers
Hi Sellers! 👋
We’re excited to share with you the 2nd Appointments specific report called the Future Bookings report.
This new report will let you look forward on your calendar and project out how much revenue you’re expected to make and how utilized you’re expected to be based on the bookings you have today
The report will let you display by team member or service, and breaks out revenue you’ve already collected as prepayments from revenue you’re yet to collect. You can choose which locations and which dates you want to look at as part of the report.
You can access this new report as an Appointments plus or premium subscriber by going to Dashboard > Reports > Appointments Reports > Future Bookings
For more information, see our help article here
Are there any other reports you’d like to see? Are there any metrics you’d like to see added to this report? Reply with ideas in this thread.
@rbabu It would be nice if we could view the appointments in which we have not collected payment for.
And honestly, it would be nice if we could have the statistics for any time period (not just future bookings).
The reason why this would be useful is in the Comment below:
We would like an easy way to see appointments made and which ones were paid/unpaid. We would like an easy way to calculate how much to pay our Service Providers.
We need a report that provides:
- Created Date
- Appointment Date/Time
- Appointment Length
- Client Name
- Amount Paid for Service
- Tip Amount Given
Currently Items 1-5 are available under Appointments-> Settings -> History, Items 6-8 are not.
Transactions-> filter by Service Provider shows when a payment was made. Does not show appointment date/time and unpaid appointments.
Team Report does not show Items 1-4, is based on when the appointment was made, not when the service was rendered.
We pay our Service Providers every Monday. If we run a report for the week based on transaction date, the service may not yet have been rendered. A client can cancel, no service will be rendered, and I have paid the service provider for a service not rendered.
Having a report based on appointment date, that shows paid/unpaid, amount paid for service, and tip amount given will help ensure that I am paying out my service providers the correct amount for services they have actually rendered.
Our current process is complicated and takes a couple hours, when it could take only ten minutes with the above data.
@rbabu I would love to talk to discuss this further with the team if it would help. Thanks!
I was going through my reports checking to see if we were improving on our schedule utilization for the new technicians and saw this newly added feature. Gave it a quick try out and I must say...I know I'm going to love this. I looked at what we have schedule and was able to make adjustments based off what was predicted to come in...I can see if we're close to our targeted goal or way off lol 🙂
