Adding customer information to transaction receipt

Hi, 

 

We are starting up a co-op, and sell ownership online.  Square gives us a transaction receipt that has the owner name, but we would like to get all the customer information on the transaction from the form that they filled out.  

 

How do you chage the transaction report to get customer name, email, address and phone added to it?

Sorry to keep you waiting for a reply @SilverChris!

 

If you've set custom fields for the customer profile, that will appear in the Customer Directory. To view this information in a report you'd need to export your customers directory:

  1. Sign in to your online Square Dashboard and click Customers.
  2. Click Import/Export in the top right > select Export Customers.
  3. You can choose to export All Customers or a Specific Group.
  4. A CSV file will download to your computer > each field is a different column. 

We've also heard the request to include more information in the Transaction CSV report and we're tracking this here: Detailed transaction report with full customer details. Click Subscribe in the top right to receive an email notification with any udpates!
