Checking out a client on appointments after you have already processed the payment

I have noticed when I need to checkout a client through the appointment app and I select other, I have to check them out using the square register and it shows up in my records twice. How do I avoid it looking like I was paid for 2 different services so my records will be correct?

Hello @Flowerstyles! It sounds like you might be using the Square Register Point of Sale system (this) to checkout clients? The Appointments app doesn't integrate with the Square Register yet so you could checkout clients from the Appointments app and Square Reader.

 

Alternatively, you could continue to take card payments at your Square Register and then from the Appointments app change the price of the services to $0 before completing the payment as 'Other'.
