Help! Buying and selling by gram

I buy and sell crystals by the gram but the inventory seems to be really stuffed up. For example, I put the Cost Price at $0.12 per gram and Sell Price at $0.36 per gram. At the Point of Sale, all seems good (i.e. it calculates the right price when I put in the grams) but looking back at my Stock History, the numbers don't make sense. In one case, I received 1000 grams @$0.12/g, Total Cost should be $120.00 but it just shows as $0.12. I have sold 393 grams, so Cost of Goods Sold should be $47.16 but it shows as $1.32. What is going on? I have based my whole inventory/accounting system on this and now am worried that the entire thing is a mess!
