My reader is new and not reading cards

The reader is new, I've charged it, Plugged into my phone and my phone recognise the reader, but when I insert a card nothing happens. It doesn't seem to recognise the card in the card slot. I don't get a prompt to enter pin or sign. Help required, I need this to work for a market tomorrow

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you've had trouble getting your reader going.

 

The issues you're seeing could be one of a number of things - to properly diagnose the issue I recommend calling our support team on 1800 760 137 so we can take a better look into your operating environment. Lines are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Melbourne time.

 

In the meantime, you can find some general troubleshooting steps for our Contactless + Chip Reader and plug-in Chip Reader at our support center. You'll also want to check you're using a compatible mobile device
