Why cant I edit the 'Other' field in the customer record and why is it no longer available when adding a new customer?

Thanks for getting in touch.
At the moment the "Other" field in customer directory is being deprecated as our product team makes some changes to how the directory functions. Existing notes in the "Other" field will remain in your customer directory.
If you're using an Android device at point of sale you can work around this at the moment and add a new note to the "other" field by:
1) Adding a customer to a transaction made on the POS app.
2) Next to the customer's name on the app, press "Edit".
3) Scroll down to the bottom of the transaction to the "Other" field and edit the note as needed.
4) Press "Save"
Apologies for the inconvenience here! We'll be adding a new section to the customer directory to cover custom notes in the future. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.
