Feature Request Ideas for Square Online and Order Management

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Easy Fixes. 

 

Starting a thread to gather a list of what I call “easy fixes” or things that would make your job more efficient/easier while using register. These are things that should not be a “programmers” nightmare, but rather things that can be implemented quite easily.(seemingly). I’ll start.

 

1. add 20 minute default prep time

2. change default prep times on the fly from register plpwithout having to login to dashboard.

3. Order name on the ticket big and bold 

4. be able to see last names on the order list.

5. having the ability to see that someone changed / edited the pickup time. (Originally requested —> changed to)

Allowing limited stock items not to be over sold! If we sell online and inshore, they can oversell in store.

Give inventory alerts to the cashier when 1 item (or set number) remain! (similar to a new order alert)

On online orders allow customer to select pickup time before going into the checkout process

Ability to be able to edit multiple online orders in bulk. (specifically mark multiple orders ready for pickup at once)
