It would be super helpful, especially right now due to COVID, if we could alert in-house customers when their food is ready for pickup at the bar. We use the bar area in our taproom now for all food pickups. This works for online orders when we mark an order as Ready For Pickup, but for in-house purchases, there is no way to alert a customer that their order is ready.
This would save restaurant owners a ton of money on expensive pager systems and other overly complex third-party software. It seems like Square already mostly has the infrastructure in place for this anyways.
