How can clients confirm their appointments so I am notified?

One feature that I am not seeing on square appointments is a "confirm" button for the clients. The options are "reschedule" or "cancel" Is there a way for a client to confirm their appointment once they receive their notification via email or text. My partner and I like to know how our day is shaping up by the confirmations we get from our clients. We switched to square on the hopes it will help us with keeping up with our clients easier and services, previously we were using just a text message system, but we were notified of a confirmation, cancellation, or if they wanted to reschedule. Square appointments does not give us the confirmations so we have no idea how many people are actually going to show up. Any suggestions? or are we missing this feature in the set up process?

I've heard a few Square Appointments users request this as well, so I'll let our Appointments Team know that this feature request seems to be getting requested more and more. 

 

Client side confirmation is not available at this time, as the booking of the appointment is assumed to be confirmed and the client is assumed to show up unless they cancel or reschedule, in which you would then receive confirmation of those changes.

I am the owner of the business and Am receiving text message confirmations for every appointment my employees book for themselves. I would like only my employees to receive  these texts and not me. Help please thank you.

Hey @Lexiloo102! Thanks for reaching out.

 

From Staff, you can click any staff member to edit their notification settings. You'll just need to disable “Owner sent a copy” for each staff member to stop receiving copies of all appointment notifications.

I hope they add this feature soon!!! I just switched over from VagaroPro as I use Square CC processing so I wanted to use only 1 app, but I’m kind of regretting my decision a little. I should’ve looked into this a little more before completely switching over. I like being notified when a client confirms an appointment so I’ll know whether they’ll show up or not and also I had no idea it’ll be $50/month if you have 2 staff using appointments, VagaroPro is only $35. Hmph thought I’ll be saving a little. Please add this feature soon so I can forget about the price 🙂

For the team editing square appointments please add a button where the client can confirm their appointment 🙏🏼  So I can be assured they will show up to the appointment.

I would love if they could add the option to accept & confirm the appointment or deny that way there is no questioning the time, price, hours it will take to perform the service. By them clicking Confirm they have agreed to the terms. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback 

I'd like to start using the Appointments feature from Square but besides sending out reminders, it does not have a feature for clients to confirm appointment upon receiving their reminder. 

The current system that I use has that feature and I love it because it saves me time by not having to call my clients. However, since I already use Square to process payments, it would just be easier and time saving for me to use Square for everything but I need that "confirmation" feature where the color of the appointent changes and therefore I know the appointment is confirmed. Thx!

HI!  Just wanted to check back and see if this was still on the radar as something that is desperately needed!!!  I have started using a text reminder service so that clients can send back a confirmation.  Please make this a priority!
