Please add contracts or forms directly within the booking flow

We need the feature of being able to add forms or contracts directly into the booking flow when clients are booking appointments, before they pay the deposit and complete their booking. The contracts being sent AFTER they book leads to clients not filling them out or completing them and needing to cancel and get a refund. Almost every other booking site has this option. I love square and use it for my payments and would love to use square appointments for my business so I can just have one platform for everything.

Hey there, @beautiforever

Being able to add a contract or form has been a huge feature request for our appointment based sellers. At the moment, this has not been added to the roadmap by our Product Team.

Another seller has posted this on our Ideate Board for as a Feature Request for the Product Team to review. I would recommend adding your input to this thread too. This will show how popular this feature is among our seller still.

Thank you for bringing this to the Community!

You can have a contract sent automatically when a client books, we've testing this in one of our locations and its working great so far

@SNI Yes, and that doesn’t work for my business because in the forms, we determine candidacy for the procedure. A client books & pays the pre-payment deposit, then automatically gets sent the form and doesn’t complete it and I’m hounding them to do it. OR, they get sent the form and go to complete it and then realize they aren’t a candidate for the procedure they have booked because of the questions in it and now I’m stuck doing a cancellation and a refund. If it were in the booking flow before they booked and paid a deposit like most other booking apps, I’d be doing less cancellations and refunds. This might work if I just took their credit card on file but for my business, deposit pre-payment works best. Having a no-show and then charging the card on file doesn’t go over as well as taking a deposit upon booking and not doing a refund if they no-show. I’m using acuity now because of this, but it would be nice to have everything all connected. With the price of square appointments compared to other more capable booking systems, this should be an obvious feature.

I totally agree with you on deposits , it's mind boggling that Sq doesn't offer this. When their services were free or low cost they could get away with missing features but not anymore.
