Add Full Sign Up Page to Loyalty Scheme on Front Display on Square Register

Here's the issue - When people sign up for the Loyalty Scheme with their phone number, it is then down to the employee to click on the phone number and then edit to bring up the details screen for the customer to enter their information. 

 

Request - Could you please change it so once the person enters their phone number it then immediately shows the customer info screen for them to continue entering their name and email etc.. so the process becomes seamless for the end user. 

 

Also a please add a button on the top bar to show the sign in screen (for when its not showing)

I think it's a great feature and I can see how it would make the process more seamless for both sellers and customers.

Any update on this? also can the done button be moved to a floating one at the top right of the screen?, it's really annoying having to explain to people to press the hide keyboard button and then scroll to the bottom of the screen and press done. 

Also i think perhaps it would be better to make the screen 2 pages, so most prominent info on page 1 for example:

Name / Surname

Phone Number

Email 

 

Then have the rest on page 2:

Address

DOB 

ETC... 

 

We only collect mobile, name and email as that's all we need, also most customers don't like given out home address, and dob etc...

 

Also another annoyance is if you add customer from the till side and they fill out the details, they enter their phone number, but yet at the end of the transaction they then have to sign in again?? to get loyalty points why? when they have already entered their info??

Hi @HugoCoffee, thanks for reaching back out.

 

I don't have an update about this feature request for now. Keep in mind that implementing new features can be a complex process that involves a lot of work and coordination across different teams. Releasing a new feature can take time.

 

When you say you add a customer from the till side, do you mean that you Create a Customer from the Customer tab before the sale ? Do you then add this customer to the sale ?

@Lou8 I mean the "Add Customer" button in the top right of the screen then clicking the plus sign.

Yes the Create Customer Screen, if you manually add a customer this way, when you finish the transaction it will require the customer to sign in to loyalty to get points, even though I have added the phone number already. Perhaps a better option would be a toggle for loyalty like the email toggle so that people don't have to sign in again? 

 

 

Also my first question about changing the "DONE" button to a floating button at the top right as currently it is really annoying having to do a spiel "having to explain to people to press the hide keyboard button and then scroll to the bottom of the screen and press done."

but with the DONE button at the top of the first screen so you can just click done once they have entered number and name, email

I checked with our Loyalty Product team, and what you described is expected behavior. Creating a customer profile does not automatically add said customer to your Loyalty program. However, customers signing up for Loyalty will be automatically added to your Customer Directory. We provide more information in this article.

In addition, your customer would have to sign up for Loyalty after checkout to accept the terms and conditions.
