The Square appointments App lets a service provider get booked in for something they are not assigned to perform whilst not giving any message or notification that this is the case, it similarly does not give a notification if something is booked in a time that is unavailable. Since on the online website version of appointments it gives a warning message something similar would be really useful, especially since many of our service providers all offer different services.

While you can limit which service a staff member can be booked against, when clients book online. All services and time slots will still be available to you, when you are creating appointments. We understand that in the service industry, team members will often multitask, and we want to ensure our Sellers have the flexibility to make that judgement call.
That being said, I can definitely see why a warning message similar to what's seen on your Dashboard, would be useful in preventing scheduling and booking conflicts, when appointments are created in the app. Our team is constantly reviewing Seller feedback on the community, so we appreciate you putting forward this suggestion.
