Can you remove the quantity counter from items in Square Online?

Can you remove the quantity counter from items in Square Online?

Can you disable the quantity selection in the online link checkout screen? ie. my sale item is always going to be a single item so not to confuse the buyer.

Hello again, @Untitled,

I appreciate your patience here while I awaited a response from my team!

I'm happy to share that after personally highlighting the feedback we received in this thread last week, the Product Team are now actively exploring ways to incorporate the option of removing the quantity selector in future versions of Square Online.

We're unable to share exact timeframes with you but I'm optimistic we'll see more movement on this feature in the coming months. 🤞

Yes please. I’m voting for the option to remove this quantity counter.
It’s definitely a dealbreaker if I get the paid subscription and not be able to have the option to remove it.

May you please remove the quantity counter from the Square terminal? I use square terminal handheld devices,  Square chip readers (bluetooth models that connect to app on mobile device) and the Square app. I use it for a concession stand at local/regional festivals and I usually offer a promotion/combo deal to increase revenue. In addition, I have created modifiers to most of my items (food menu) and it gets tricky for some of my employees when a customer orders more than 1x custom combo meal because each combo meal has will have different modifiers selected that should not automatically apply to the second combo the customer is ordering. When employees select a modifier and increase the item quantity to 2 or more (because let's say that customer wants extra bacon, meat patty, etc.) what will happen is that now we have 2 combo meals added to the sale unintentionally, whereas the purpose was to simply add additional modifiers instead of adding another whole item.

So I have found a solution that works for me. I am an artist and I sell my physical artwork and some digital items. I’ve set the STOCK quantity to 1 for my original art. And set the number of stock i ant in the digital ones. This way, it says “only 1 left” and the customer isn’t able to select more than that. When it gets purchased it drops to SOLD.

Hope that helps
