Delete Active Orders after they have been paid and processed.

I have been receiving an extremely laggy and slow POS and iPad system with Square Restaurants app. I was told the issue could be from having 1000 active Chewzie orders (all picked up and paid and we have not used Chewzie for 3 months) however there is no way to delete the orders.

 

This is the response from online Square Chat;

 

"I am really sorry, but the option to delete the orders in order to not have an order on the order screen is not possible. The order status can be changed but not removed. I see how this would be useful for Square for Restaurants, so I will pass your feedback to the engineering team for them to take a look at it."

 

"That option changes the order status so they are no longer "active" Unfortunately, the option to "delete" the order from the order dashboard is not an option, which I'm terribly sorry for.

 

I can see how this function to delete an order once completed would be helpful, thank you for your feedback, so I’ll be sure to share this with our Engineering Team."
