Include More in Integration with Xero

We use Xero for accounting and need things like Purchase Orders to be transferred over. It makes no sense that Square is unable to do this as what we used to use (which is meant to be worse than Square) is able to do it

Hey again, @Dunnart,

Thanks for formally flagging your feedback with us in our Feature Requests board for Square for Retail.

We apologize for not being able to provide more assistance in response to your previous question. We work with our partners to provide Square Sellers with a wider range of features to support their business. However, we have limitations in terms of the information we can share from Square based on the platform's capabilities.

There's an ongoing feature request on Xero's Product Ideas public forum for the ability to import/export purchase orders through Xero. Square will need Xero to implement this feature before we can offer it to our Sellers as part of the integration. We encourage you to add your vote for this request on Xero's platform.

When asking around one of my colleagues mentioned the possibility of importing CSV data as an Invoice with Xero but this would be something I would reach out to confirm with Xero first as I'm not overly familiar with the platform myself.

Query! You have the software amaka that integrates with quickbooks. Can you get it so it integrates with xero please?

Hey there, @ASAB 👋,

To clarify, the integration between Xero and Square is managed by Amaka, allowing you to automatically sync your Square transactions to Xero and keep track of Square fees, tips, refunds, and more. You can learn more about the integration here.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, sorry. Do you mind including some more information about your question in your reply?

Yes, thats perfect! Only thing is you cant integrate any other sites like ebay or amazon when you connect through square. Then if you go and set up an account with amaka, you cant connect to square just the other ecommerce sites.

My understanding is that when you process any transaction using Square as the payment processor, whether it's through Square's own platform or on other platforms that have Square connected as a payment processor, such as eBay, the transaction details will sync seamlessly to Xero through the Amaka integration.

Our partner, Ecwid, offers the ability to connect your Square account with your eBay account. Have a look and let us know if this is what you're looking for, @ASAB!

It's worth noting that for more detailed information about the Amaka integration and its connection to your Square transactions, we suggest that you reach out to Amaka's team directly. They can provide you with comprehensive insights into their product and its integration with Square. To schedule a discussion with a team member, you can visit their website and arrange a convenient time to speak.

I hope this information helps to answer your query!

Having all of these different apps is annoying and costly when they all charge you fees. Amaka integrates into all of these companies as well just not in conjunction with square. Ebay is its own payment processor so using square with ebay is an added step that is not needed. I sent them a message as well. Trying to keep things cost effective and not have to visit tons of websites to make sure everything is running smoothly. I hope that makes sense.

Ah, we're with you, @ASAB, it sounds like what you're looking for would be considered a feature request at this time.

Currently, the Amaka integration we offer does not connect to other eCommerce platforms. I'm not aware of any plans to introduce additional features to the Amaka integration at this time, outside of the connection it offers to your Xero account.

However, I'd be happy to pass on your feedback to our Partnerships Team.

Thanks heaps! Happy New Year! A partner that integrates into ebay, amazon, and etsy would be amazing. There are some out there but they are mainly for shipping orders and not so much for sales into square to keep up with inventory, invoicing, etc. The ones you can find that do this do not integrate or charge out the nose. Thanks heaps for your time!
