What do you do to keep morale up at your location?

What do you do to keep culture at your salon great?
Currently, I do weekly starbucks for staff, hang with them for 30 mins each person, come in when its busy to clean during their shifts, and accommodate all time off requests, and sharing reviews to the team when they mention staff members.
I am putting together a leadership role so I can step back and want to incorporate everything to keep morale up that I can think of

These sound great.  I think for me, when I was in a big salon as an employee I really appreciated the small things--like hearing I did a great job, time off requests honored, and educational events.  And of course, staying booked+busy.

Agreed - that is huge. Making sure every staff member has a role and feels like they are contributing is #1; we switch to being more project based when the season slows down in November to combat that. I should look into educational events! Can you share what those were?

I love this! We do competitions monthly and have a spin the wheel where we put all the prizes the girls want to win and then the winner gets to spin and win a prize. It's about being appreciated! Look forward to seeing more ideas below!!
